International Adoptions
United States or Canada
We are proud to offer international adoptions for our animals in Grenada. If you’re interested in giving one of our dogs or cats a loving home abroad, here’s how the process works:
Complete the Application
Once you’ve chosen an animal, we will send you an Overseas Adoption Questionnaire to learn more about your home, lifestyle, and experience to ensure the best fit.
Approval Process
After reviewing your application, we will notify you if your adoption has been approved. Our goal is to ensure each animal is placed in a safe, loving, and suitable home.
Travel Coordination
If needed, we will begin arranging travel through a flight chaperone. This is often a volunteer already traveling who can accompany your pet safely to their destination.
Fees & Transport
The adoption fee and any associated transport costs (including flights, crates, and documentation) are the responsibility of the adopter.
Required Costs:
Overseas Adoption Fee: 205 XCD / $75 USD
Health Certificate: 135 XCD / $50 USD
Microchip: 140 XCD / $51 USD
Travel Carrier: 160 XCD / $62 USD
Flight Fees (paid to airline):
American Airlines / JetBlue: $150 USD
Air Canada / WestJet: $100 USD
Delta: $200 USD
Estimated Total:
Approximately $240 USD + airline pet fee, depending on the airline used.
Bringing Your Pet Home
Once all paperwork and payments are completed, your new pet will travel to you and officially begin their new life in their forever home.
Post-Adoption Follow-Up
We love staying connected! Our team will check in a few weeks after adoption to see how your new family member is settling in.
